About this title
Synopsis
Walking home from work one night, Shuuichirou Kudou encounters a child-like being with wings trapped on a tree branch. After he saves the creature, they introduce themselves as Kohaku, an angel from Heaven. Skeptical of the supernatural, Shuuichirou ignores Kohaku and goes back home, dismissing it as a dream. The next day, Shuuichirou finds Kohaku in his garden, who has now taken on their true form. They tell him that, for his kindness, they want to grant him any wish. However, Shuuichirou is content with what he has and declines. Kohaku decides that, instead of doing nothing, they will stay with their savior until he desires something only they can deliver. Although Kohaku becomes accustomed to their homely life with Shuuichirou, they cannot remain on Earth for long due to being tormented by Kouryuu—a mischievous devil—and his sidekicks. In addition, Kohaku is on borrowed time to find the missing archangel Hisui and must hurry before they are both banished from Heaven forever. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Main characters
Kohaku33 fan favoritesExternal profileKohaku is a rather accident-prone angel who has come to Earth in search of the Angel Master, Hisui. After getting trapped in a tree and attacked by a crow, Kohaku is rescued by Shuuichirou, a young doctor. As a result, Kohaku feels indebted to grant him one wish but finds the kind doctor is satisfied with all aspects of his life. Thus, Kohaku remains with Shuuichirou in hopes of repaying him somehow (subsequently getting in other sticky situations as a result). Kohaku is neither boy or girl. Angels and demons do not have human genders, so referring to Kohaku as "he" or "she" is incorrect. However, the English translation of the manga took liberty with this and assigned Kohaku female pronouns. Wish spoilers Kobato spoilers Drug&Drop spoilers (Source: Wikipedia)
Shuuichirou Kudou0 fan favoritesExternal profileShuuichirou Kudou is a young doctor who rescues Kohaku from the tree where she is trapped. For this he is granted a wish, but isn't interested as he has everything he wants. Shuuichirou is generally kind and trusting, but isn't one to seek other people's company—something that is remedied throughout the course of the story by the two angels, two demons and two servant demons who all move into his house.
