Hanzo is the young and rigorous leader of the Iga clan. After Fuuma beat him when he was 19, he declared the other ninja as his rival and trains to not lose to him again. Sent to a world unknown to him, he continues to train and obtain enlightenment as a warrior. He considers himself naive, though he has hopes to one day be the greatest. Hanzou never refuses a challenge and despises evil, so when Doctor Brown invited him for World Heroes tournament he accepted right away. After winning the tournament and defeating Geegus, Hanzou leaves without attending the award ceremony. He enters the future competitions to not only face stronger opponents, but to also defeat antagonists who are usually the one hosting the competitions. Hanzo is a very dedicated and stoic warrior, only thinking of the next battle. He refers to himself in humble terms, using the words sessha and dono when addressing others. He is usually very serious and focused until Kotaro's antics make him lose his temper. At times he exercises good will with the other fighters, as he is seen interacting with them in other endings. Fuuma is the fifth leader of the Fuuma clan. Ever since Fuuma was beaten by Hanzo when he was 19, the two have been rivals ever since. Unlike his rival, Fuuma adopts to the new culture that he's in and is excited by change. He disguises himself as a blond-haired business man to make ends meet. The company that he works for isn't really elaborated on, but ADK World implies that he works at an American general trading company. He's an easy going womanizer who doesn't like to work any harder than he has to. He also acts like a rebellious kabukimono, posing and announcing himself in the same manner. In his appearance in Aggressors of Dark Kombat, he momentarily slips into the same speech mannerisms as Hanzo. This is the only game he slips into an archaic tone, but this is mainly blamed on a glitch caused by the time machine. (Source: SNK Wiki) No voice actors have been added to this character. Jeanne D'Arc is a swordswoman from 15th century France. A bearer of tremendous beauty, she roamed her land in search of a strong fighter to become her husband. However, she continues her search at a different time now. Alongside seven other warriors from different time periods, Doctor Brown invites Jeanne to the World Heroes tournament. Jeanne accepts the invitation in hopes of finding a suitable man. She advances through the tournament until she was put against Julius Carn who managed to defeat her. Jeanne gets up and confesses to Julius that she's finally found a man strong enough to defeat her, she aggressively asks for a kiss, but Julius runs away while telling her that she's not his type of woman. She enters the second World Heroes tournament with the same goal of finding a suitable man, but was, once again, unsuccessful. After the third World Heroes tournament, she sees Ryoko Izumo fawning over Hanzo Hattori, she becomes irritated but quickly gets over after reassuring herself that she's the queen.
