Synopsis

Tokyo, 1991. Seven mages gather to summon seven heroes from history, myth, and legend to do battle in a great ritual. The last ones standing will obtain the Holy Grail—a font of limitless power said to be able to grant any wish. One such Master is Manaka Sajou, a young maiden with immense expectations placed on her. Ayaka's older sister who fought and died as Saber's Master during the previous Holy Grail War. Highly regarded as a genius magus, her father had great expectations for her to win the War and to bring her family ever closer to the Root. Her level of talent would cause Ayaka (who had little talent for magecraft) to develop a superiority complex towards her. Over the course of the War Manaka would become attached to her Servant to the point of obsession, discussing the War and the Grail itself as they fought together. It would be later revealed that she had no intention of using the Grail's wish-granting power to reach the Root as her father desired. Having been born with a connection to the Root itself, Manaka would find her father's goal of reaching the Root "boring" and would instead offer human sacrifices to the Grail in an effort to raise the "Beast" (the Beast from the Book of Revelations), fulfilling the original purpose of Heaven's Feel (The Holy Grail War) to begin with. Realizing her true intentions and dark methods however, her Servant would stab her from behind at the end of the War, barely saving Ayaka from being sacrificed as their father already had and watching Manaka die with a smile on her face, unable to understand his betrayal. After her death he would throw her body into the Grail, ending the War with no victor. As the next Holy Grail War began Manaka would be resurrected by the power of the Grail as the 1st Master of the War, Seraphim, becoming the final antagonist of the story with the Beast itself as her Servant. Despite her death by his very hand she would become even more obsessed with Saber, calling him her "Prince" and expecting him to come back to her. (Source: TYPE-MOON Wikia)

Berserker, as Hyde, has an appearance similar to a werewolf with black fur covering his body, a large jaw, sharp fangs, and a beast-like, humanoid form. His eyes glow upon seeing the full moon. As Jekyll, he is shown to be fancily dressed in a white dress shirt, an olive green vest, and a black and grey jacket draped across his shoulders. Tatsumi Kitano is the Master of Berserker in the First Holy Grail War of Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver. A high school boy who lives in Setagaya, in the metropolitan area. He was raised like any other ordinary child without the knowledge of the World of Magecraft. He wasn't even aware of his inherited Mystic right eye until recently. His mother, father, and younger sister, Tamaki currently live in Hiroshima while he lives alone in an apartment in order to attend school. He was a second year high school student at Setagaya High School. Tatsumi was considered, by the people around him, to be an ordinary young man, both in grades and sports. His hobbies were bird-watching and reading. The only thing that he had pride in was in his photography and animal watching. His favorite food is Japanese Spanish Mackerel. While he is a living dead, he shows some signs of his former self such as his sense of justice, however, he is still only capable of speaking a few words. Elza Saijou is the Master of Archer in the First Holy Grail War of Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver. Elza is half-German, half-Japanese from her German father and Japanese mother. Her official job is that of a camerawoman. She is someone who has seen much bloodshed and much death during her travels to war torn countries as part of her occupation; which has given her a distaste for war and violence. Her son, Luca passed away less than a year before the 1st Holy Grail War. Elza is a kind individual who cares deeply for others. She bears a hatred for violence and bloodshed as a result of her job and her wish is "for all mothers and children to be saved." Having lost her child less than a year before the 1991 Tokyo Holy Grail War, she is also in a state of mourning, but she covers up her sadness by putting on a happy face.
