  Pride Royal Ivy, First Princess of the Freesia Kingdom. Currently acting as a Crown Princess. Is born with precognition powers. She has personal maids like Lotte and Marie, her Imperial Knights that can protect her (Arthur, Alan, Callum, Eric, Harrison) and her beloved Royal siblings who are always by her side, Stale and Tiara. Additionally, she was forced to enslave a criminal who is in her care at the present moment (Val) and treated him well to make sure he can live past hardships and earn an honest life. Although she sometimes uses the knowledge in the game that she loved and will be able to prioritize it for as long as she can to save those capture targets of the otome game. It can be somewhat challenging for her when other men in her life are actively trying to win her over while harboring no feelings for her romantic endeavors, as she tends to rationalize their actions, which leaves her giving them a practical solution to focus more on the important tasks at hand. Pride is fundamentally kind, intelligent, responsible, nurturing and strategizing her next move. Pride is two steps ahead of her time because she is aware of her unique skills and last boss cheats and has a particular habit of internally showing her savior complex down to her core, but slowly realizes she is the 'Last Boss Queen' of the otome game in (Our Ray of Light) after she got hit by a huge truck that sweeps off her shoes. At her core, she is more like the reincarnated high school girl who resides in the evil princess. Due to this fact, she became extremely sensitive, empathic, strong-willed, leadership skills, willing to do everything, including sacrificing herself for their safety and happiness of other people whom she had helped and for the stability of the kingdom away from self-indulgence and desolation, the opposite of what the Villainess Pride does. She harbors an immense amount of guilt due to her knowing the atrocities that her game counterpart might cause and will do everything she can to prevent any tragedies that she supposed to create in the future from the things she afraid of doing the past mistakes from the OG Pride. The same guilt often causes her to break out into tears for the ones who might have a tragic fate because of Pride's sselfishness whenever she remembers those tragic events that might happen. However, she also often finds a sense of relief rather than having more doubts due to the tragedies that were prevented, in which,as a result of her culmination, Pride witnessed others' happiness, like Stale, Tiara, Arthur, her parents etc., because she changed the trajectory of other people's lives in a positive way. Pride prioritizes her people's welfare over herself, both out of desire to atone for her future shortcomings, where she consumes genuine guilt one day as a potential tyrannical ruler, even though she had contributed great deeds and sacrifices to her nation.

  Tiara is Pride's younger sister and the original protagonist of the game. Events from the game are mentioned throughout the series, with Tiara being presented, like a physical, living hug plushie or holding hands while the male protagonists—aka the romance candidates of the original game—talk about Pride (in a negative and hateful way). To make it clear, even in the original game, the story is just about Pride, while Tiara only serves as a support character for the princes, filling the role of a protagonist and lover rather than an active protagonist. However, after Pride gets reincarnated into the game's world and becomes the protagonist, it is no surprise that Tiara's impact in the series is reduced to that of a cute little sister with her head in the clouds, loving to read fairy tales while everyone else is working on getting better to support Pride—including Pride herself—for the goal of making the kingdom a better place for everyone. In a way, if you removed her from the anime, you wouldn't notice any major difference, though some cute scenes won't happen.

  Arthur is a secondary character in the story. Son of Knight Commander Roderick of Freesia. His father expected him to become a knight. Though Arthur initially gave up on that goal because he believed his Special Ability was not suited for combat. In "To a Beam of Light With You". He replaces his father, who died during the successful attack by mercenaries, as the Knight Commander. The original timeline, Arthur was a tragic and vengeful character because of Pride's evil personality and respect for his late father. He witnessed his father's death due to a landslide that happened during an ambush planned by the bandit Val. His grief from this loss, added with Pride callously disrespecting Roderick's death made Arthur devote his life for vengeance and desire to became Roderick the Knight Commander. Thanks to this, he became a knight that even far surpassed his father. This Arthur however also developed hatred for Tiara since she is the sister of Pride and would continue to hate her until she finally healed his grief and pain. Arthur in anime incarnation is a stark contrast of his game counterpart in which he never became a vengeful person like in the original timeline, the only similarity is his skills and respect for his father Roderick. Like the original, he was forced to witness his father nearly dying in Val's ambush but assured by Pride that everything will be alright. After watching his father rescued by Pride, witnessing firsthand the princess' kindness and desire to fulfill her promise, Arthur broke-down in tears after knowing his father's life was saved. This event made him develop a fierce devotion, respect and love for Pride, which extended to the entire royal family and kingdom. Arthur's devotion for Pride was so strong that it (ironically) became his main reason and drive to be a knight who will always be there to protect her, wherever and whenever. In addition, he developed a close bond of friendship and rivalry with Stale and the two trust each other genuinely to the point that Arthur himself is treated like a member of the royal family.
