Synopsis

The year is 200X and everyone is now connected to the Cyber Network. People carry their own PET (Personal Terminal) and are paired up with an artificial intelligence program called a NetNavi (or NetNavigator). Computers have turned the world into a bright and shiny utopia but there's always trouble in paradise. While the invention of the PET and NetNavis has brought great benefits to the world, computer hacking, virus spreading and other high-tech crimes are becoming a major problem. A sinister organization by the name of World Three has appeared and they've vowed to destroy this technological wonderland. Enter our young hero, Lan Hikari, an intensely curious and cheerful fifth grader. Synchronized with his NetNavigator, MegaMan, he becomes a super-charged dynamo. In and out of the Net, Lan and MegaMan do their best to thwart World Three's never-ending quest to take over the world! (Source: Viz Media)

Height: 148 cm Rockman is Netto's little Net Navi, and devoted friend. He's basically the "good guy" of the series, as he foils the World 3's plans continuously. Rockman has a default weapon used in battle known as his "Rock Buster", in which he does not need a battle chip from Netto to use. As the episodes of the series progress, Rockman himself often becomes to prime target of the World 3's evil operators and Navis. As the series progress, Rockman begins to acquire a vast amount of various style changes. Beginning in Season 2 and all the way into Beast, these range from simple elemental changes, to soul unisons with other navis, and finally to ravenous "beast-out" transformations. Despite all their troubles with Dr. Wily or some other evil, Rockman and Netto always remain the most dedicated of friends. Rockman is a good balance to Netto's irresponsible behavior.

Anime Bass was born of the remnants of PharaohMan's data, which were extracted from the Navi by Wily, who wanted his Ultimate Program. Bass had no memories of his previous life as PharaohMan until he abducted MegaMan and read his memories, learning his origins and awakening his "true self". Manga In the manga, Bass made his first appearance in Volume 3, when MegaMan and Protoman were investigating the UnderNet. Similar to his game counterpart, he faced Serenade in the past, and was determined to wield the same power one day. Constantly coming into conflict with MegaMan, ProtoMan and their operators, Bass would eventually be taken away by Dark MegaMan (Dark Rockman) and LaserMan, who had intentions to change the world into the Dark Kingdom. Dark MegaMan subsequently tried to absorb all of Bass' power to become the ultimate being, but, failing to consume his entire consciousness, was disconnected from the Navi's soul. Bass was then fighting Nebula Grey, having drawn by Nebula Grey's dark power. Bass proceeded to attack Nebula Grey, but to no avail, leading him to fuse with MegaMan to create BassCross MegaMan. After Nebula Grey's defeat at MegaMan's hand who used Beast Out, he destroy Dr. Regal's submarine. He reappeared in the underground during the fight to see who could obtain the legendary program to defeat Gregar. He once again saved MegaMan, this time from Cyberbeast Falzar and then absorbed Falzar to once again be MegaMan's equal in terms of power. After the Cyberbeast merged and slowly deleting the real world, Bass eventually assisted MegaMan and gave him all of his power to defeat the Ceyberbeast after encouragement from Serenade. Compared to the anime and the game, Bass is portrayed having deeper rivalry and friendship with MegaMan. (Source: Wikipedia)

Enzan is your classic type of "I'm the best there is, now prove to me that your worthy to fight me" kind of character. Enzan is the creator and operator of the net navi Blues, otherwise known as Protoman. Both of them are very skilled and powerful fighters, Enzan alone is nicknamed the "prodigy netbattler" with hundreds of undefeated matches. Enzan takes on in interest in Netto and Rockman early on in the series, after he hears rumors about the "incredible blue navi" that's been solving crimes on the net. However he believes that Netto isn't all that he has cracked up to be, as Blues ends up saving Rockman from deletion more than once. As the series progresses further, we see Enzan opening up to Netto and his friends more and more. Eventually, we even get to see this boy start to smile on a daily basis (or almost). Still, Enzan never loses his series attitude, and he's always the first to think things through properly. He balances the rash Netto out quite well when they're in battle together. It is learned towards the end of Axess that

Some NetNavis have speed, others have power, but Protoman has both. Cool and unbeatable, his special power is expert swordsmanship. With the guidance from his equally cool-headed and somewhat arrogant NetOp Chaud, Protoman is considered by many to be the most skilled NetNavi on the net. (Source: Capcom)

Name: Roll.EXE (Roll) Race: Net Navi Gender: Female Age: unknown Hair: Blonde Eyes: Green Height: 148 cm Roll is no longer the housekeeping maid she used to be, now she's a battling Navi. Meiru is Roll's operator, and good friend. When Roll is not accompanying Meiru, she often goes off to be with Rockman, Gutsman and Glyde. Roll's design is a very cute one, as well as quite different from her old design in the original Rockman games. She now has a long ponytail with a bow in it, as well as "antenna" like things that circle around her head. She uses these to attack her foes with, but it's also been shown that she can connect to programs with them as well within the net. Roll is actually quite a strong fighter, and her attacks reflect her cute style. She has the ability to turn virus foes to her side with a little "love", and her antennas can pack a good punch. Roll actually has numerous default attacks that she needs no battle chips for, including "Roll Whip", "Heart Slash", and "Roll Arrow". Roll is obviously very affectionate towards Rockman, and often becomes very jealous if another female tries to interfere. She'll do anything it takes to also protect him in battle, though often she becomes more of a distraction for him rather than any help.

Don't let the fact that he looks a lot like Rockman fool you. This spunky navi is filled with a lot of spazz and downright bundles of energy. Like his operator Dingo, he presents a lot of Indian heritage in his design, and this reflects in his types of attacks as well. The axe on his right arm is detachable, and can be flung as a projectile weapon. Even Rock's buster isn't strong enough to deflect it when it's heading right at you. When in a pinch, Tomahawkman can also call upon his "Totem-sama!", which charges his energy, heals him, and then attacks his opponent for him with a blaze of fire. Tomahawkman may sound a little rough, but he's very friendly and will do whatever he can to help out. He quickly becomes friends with Rockman, as Dingo does with Netto. (Source: Rockman.exe Online)
