About this title

Synopsis

Night Raid is a band of assassins who work covertly to cleanse the Capital, a place where greed and corruption runs rampant. Mercilessly killing those who perpetuate its evil, Night Raid aims to help the innocent and pave the way for a better tomorrow. While Sheele is training Tatsumi in the forest, the two happen upon a young girl being attacked and save her. The girl, called Nea, cannot see or make her way alone, and they end up taking her back to Night Raid's hideout. Tragic circumstances have forced Nea to seek out her remaining family in the Capital, and having taken a shine to the girl, Sheele resolves to help her. However, with the Capital being the swirling pot of avarice and malice it is, Nea's troubles are far from over. At another time and place, Night Raid sets their sight on a new target: a group of deadly assassins indiscriminately killing civilians for sport. As Night Raid prepares to deliver retribution upon the culprits, Bulat finds an unexpected dilemma in this routine mission. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Age: 16-17 Height: 155 cm (5'1") Blood type: B Faction: Night Raid Favorite color: pink Teigu: Pumpkin Born and raised in the western borders of the Empire, Mine spent her most of her childhood under harsh ridicule and misery from people for her half foreign blood. She joined the Revolutionary Army after learning it was forming alliances with countries from the west. With the promise of a new country where diplomatic relations with the People of West would improve, she fights so others of her race can be accepted and their children would not go through the discrimination and suffering she had. Mine is a self-proclaimed "Genius Sniper," as well as being a sharp-tongued and quick-witted member of the assassin's group, Night Raid. She is often quick to anger, and easily irritated with those she does not know well. Despite this cold exterior, she has shown to be warm and kind to those she has opened up to. Mine wields a powerful Teigu in the form of a rifle called the "Roman Artillery: Pumpkin" that that can shoot in 3 modes: sniper, machine gun and long barrel, it fires highly concentrated piercing shots of spirit energy. Her proficiency in its use allows her to strike any target with extreme precision. The energy output is proportional to the user feeling of danger, and it overheats on continuous usage. She can also switch parts with her Teigu. One of those parts allows her to slash with spirit energy, another allows her to fire quicker shots in succession but this considerably lowers her attack power. Mine also carries an eye piece stored in a compartment inside her teigu, allowing her to scout and snipe from a distance. She also appears to be quite adept in hand to hand combat, as she was seen sparring with Akame. Her major weakness is that she leaves her back vulnerable to attacks. (Source: Akame ga Kill! Wikia)
