About this title

Synopsis

In this universe, Taichi is involved in a V-Pet tournament, where he is told he cannot play because the Digimon in his V-Pet isn't recognized as being a real Digimon; however, after the tournament is over, Taichi plays the winner of the tournament, a boy named Neo Saiba, and their battle ends in a tie—something that is supposed to be impossible. Later, Taichi is summoned to the Digital World by a digimon called Lord HolyAngemon, and there he meets the mysterious Digimon in his V-Pet, Zeromaru the Veedramon. Age: 7 (Digimon movie part one), 11 (Digimon Adventure), 14 (Digimon Adventure 02), 17 (Digimon Tri.), 22 (Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna) Birthday: 1988 Tai Kamiya, known in Japan as Taichi Yagami (八神太一, Yagami Taichi), is a fictional character from the first two seasons of the anime Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02, as well as in the Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01 manga. He is characterized as an adventurous, happy, carefree but naïve character who wears a set of goggles, a characteristic that is shared among the leaders of the various DigiDestined or (Chosen Children in the Japanese version) in Digimon However, unlike the other leaders, he wears a blue headband underneath his goggles. He is the older brother to Kari Kamiya (Hikari Yagami in Japan). As a leader, he almost always acts in a rash and stubborn way without realizing the consequences of his actions (The V-Tamer version is more of a planner). His stubborn and hot-tempered attitude makes him not to listen his comrades for a plan. This has led him to moments of friction and guilt between his friend/rival Matt Ishida (Yamato Ishida in Japan), his oldest friend Sora Takenouchi, as well as his Digimon partner Agumon. However, he manages to do whatever is necessary to rectify the situation, and in times of need, save friends and family from certain doom. He is the bearer of the Crest of Courage. Zeromaru shares many of the personality traits belonging to his human partner Taichi—he is very strong willed, but somewhat fool-hardy, and hates to be underestimated. He acknowledges the fact that he can't do everything on his own, but is determined to prove his strength nonetheless. Neo Saiba is an evil Tamer with many Digimon. He has a younger sister, Rei, who became paralyzed after getting hit by a truck. Neo seemed to care for nobody or thing after this accident. Rei Saiba is Neo Saiba's sister who was pulled into the Digital World with him and the Alias III members Sigma, Mari Goutokuji, and Hideto Fujimoto. Taichi Yagami and Zeromaru first meet her when two Flymon were chasing her and the Flymon were killed by Zeromaru. Though at first she is scared of Zero, after he saves her, she warms up to him when he saved her. She cannot walk in the Real World due to a recent accident, but she is able to walk in the Digital World and her pendant turns out to be a Digimental that Neo uses to make Arkadimon stronger. She gets mad at Neo when she finds out that he wants Taichi and Co. out of the way. He has Rei locked away in a room, but she is freed by Pal and Pul. She, Sigma, and Mari escape from Daemon's castle. When it came to the final battle between Taichi and Neo, Rei attempted to commit suicide via jumping off a cliff created by Arkadimon's God Matrix. and is saved by Zeromaru. Neo stops the fight after hearing Rei's plea. When returned to the Real World, she keeps up her friendship with Taichi and the others. No voice actors have been added to this character.
